Well, as they say, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So let's say I was obliged, that is beholden, to walk around with my thumb in my eye... now that would be Beautiful. In a similar way, was my Historical Theology exam also beautiful.
But what they say is wrong. so i ask a different question: was the test Beautiful? or is the act of walking around with a thumb in your eye not Beautiful?
Well, I guess, the exam had a certain pleasing quality that aroused in me a strong contemplative delight.
In response, I took up the whole alotted time to complete the exam and later thanked the professor for having written such a good exam. To this, he replied, "It was easy, huh?"
Then was the beauty accidental? The thumb in your eye was your thumb, not the thumb of the professor.
